The Cavaliers Still Can’t Find The Basket From Behind The Arc

This off season was all about getting good shooters. Danny Ferry spent a lot of money to sign Damon Jones and Donyell Marshall. But apparently we are still struggling from behind the arc.

The team is shooting just 26 percent (20-of-76) on 3-pointers. Damon Jones, hasn’t found it yet, going just 5-of-20 from behind the arc and 8 turnovers in 87 minutes. Luke Jackson 5-of-19. Donyell Marshall 12-of-34. Overall the Cavaliers are shooting just 43 percent in their first four games.

The Cavaliers are also averaging 18 turnovers in four preseason games. Gooden has 10 in 86 minutes and Ilgauskas has eight in 77 minutes. But again, this is the pre-season and turnovers are usually high.
