Joe Smith Informs Cavaliers He Will Sign With Them

Joe Smith has informed the Cleveland Cavaliers that he will sign with them as soon as the waiver clears on Wednesday  according to NBA front-office sources.

The Cavs dealt for Smith at the trading deadline in February 2008 but had to part with him over the summer in the three-way trade with Milwaukee and Oklahoma City to acquire All-Star guard Mo Williams.
