Fisher could complicate things.

Derek Fisher from the Utah Jazz, an unrestricted free agent and at 6-1, 205 has asked and received a release from his contract so he could find the best medical care for his 11 month daughter who has eye cancer.

As reported in an earlier article in CavsNews, Morris Peterson has generated interest from the Utah Jazz as well as several other teams.  Branson Wright from the Plain Dealer believes that with Derek Fisher’s request to be released and Peterson’s desire to be a starter, Utah could be one of the top choices for Peterson.  By the way,  Peterson is represented by agent Rob Pelinka who also represents Jazz forward Carlos Boozer.
