Anderson Varejao to undergo further tests on the left ankle
X-rays taken at the Staples Center were negative and MRI showed no additional injury beyond the sprain. However, the Cleveland Cavaliers sent Varejao back to Cleveland to undergo further tests at the Cleveland Clinics. Varejao injured his ankle during the third quarter when he accidentally stepped on the foot of Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic.
