The Cavaliers came up short against the Sixers with a final score of 100-98. Down most of the game, the Cavaliers almost tied it to force OT but came up short in a game that was not as close as the final buzzer would indicate. The Cavaliers were sluggish on offense and missed their “All Star” Lebron. Allen Iverson made up for that with a cool 30 points to lead all scores. Larry Hughes led the Cavaliers with 15.
Some interesting observations though from my seat at the Q.
It was a Sea of Blue. What happened to the Wine colored seats? I heard something about the cloth not being flame resistent.
The new scoreboard was cool. Great wide screen and colors. Although they were having some technical difficulties getting all of the players numbers to appear. At times the CAVS had two # 19’s and at other times only two players on the scoreboard. One neat feature is that it tells you how much the CAVS are up or down. -2 or +4. Great for the mathematically challenged.
The cheerleaders looked as good as ever.
Ronnie Duncan is the new announcer. Everyone has a nickname, Z-licious for starters. It will take awhile to get used to him.
Nicole Vs. BOO. You decide for yourself, but if you think BOO was annoying…
One cool part of the warm-ups included a camera shot of the players as they were exiting the locker room. Got a glimpse of Daniel Gilbert in the locker room as the players exited.
Lebron looked good. He appears to be feeling much better. Coach Brown gave him the hip hop handshake on the bench, he was glad to see him.
